Worship for This Sunday...

Happy Easter Season!

We are still hearing stories of what happened on the first Easter Sunday. 

This morning we hear of two despondent disciples who are returning from the Jerusalem, stunned by the tragic crucifixion of Jesus, and confused by what some women told them earlier that morning.  They are traveling home on the road to Emmaus.

They are joined by a stranger who seems to know more about what happened than they do – a stranger whom they later recognize as he breaks bread with them.

We also celebrate the baptism of Elsie Needham this morning!
