On Sunday, May 24, we celebrate Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came down from heaven and empowered and emboldened the disciples.  Peter preaches to a mystified and amazed crowd, and as a result 3,000 people were baptized and joined the believers.

 

The Church was born.
